I was playing with my old Airmap 500 that has not actually seen any 'active'
service since I purchased it.
Anyway, I entered a simple route  A ->  B  ->  C  ->  D.
When I select 'Navigate Route' , it would appear that it is trying to go
directly to point D without going via A B & C. Is this normal or am I
doing something wrong.
Lost the manual by the way :(

So download it from www.lowrance.com. While you're at it, check for the
latest firmware for your Airmap 500. Once you're sure you have that,
let's try again.

Hmm. I've seem this happen with one single customer (we're a German
pilot shop) and have never been able to reproduce it. Have you tried
calling Lowrance support?
One last idea: There's a setting somewhere that says how close you need
to be to a waypoint for the arrival alarm to go off. That should be at
a half or quarter mile.
